What Will I Lose?
Can I keep using Apple Music after switching from iPhone to Android?
Yes. Apple Music has an Android app. If you already subscribe, install it and sign in with the same Apple Account. You generally do not need a second Apple Music subscription just because you changed phones.
What to do
- On the Android phone, install Apple Music from Google Play.
- Open the app and choose Sign In.
- Sign in with the Apple Account used for your current Apple Music subscription.
- Check that your music library and subscription are accessible.
- If you use a family plan, review Apple’s Android Family Sharing instructions if necessary.
Limits and compatibility notes
Check this before relying on the answer
Apple Music streaming subscription access is not the same as transferring purchases from the iTunes Store or locally downloaded audio. Features such as Chromecast and Android Auto require compatible equipment; service availability may vary by country.
