How do Face ID and fingerprint unlock compare?
Face ID uses facial recognition on compatible iPhones; Android phones may use fingerprint, face unlock, or both. Convenience and security capabilities depend on hardware and implementation.
What to do
- Check unlock methods for the specific models.
- Test them with gloves, wet hands, masks, and low light.
- Verify which biometric methods support sensitive app authentication.
