Android → iPhone Get Used to It

Can I add a permanent number row to the iPhone keyboard?

Apple's built-in iPhone keyboard does not provide a documented switch for an always-visible number row. You can open the number and symbol layout when needed. If a permanent row is essential, compare third-party keyboard layouts instead of assuming Android keyboard options carry over.

What to do

  1. Open a text field and use the number/symbol switch on the onscreen keyboard.
  2. Check Settings > General > Keyboard for Apple's available options.
  3. If considering another keyboard, check its current iOS feature list before installing.

Limits and compatibility notes

Check this before relying on the answer The absence of a documented system option does not rule out every third-party keyboard. Check the layout and permissions of any keyboard you plan to use.
