Does Gboard work the same on iPhone as on Android?
Gboard is available on iPhone, but do not expect every Android behavior to be identical. Google documents iOS-specific setup and features such as glide typing, while iOS can switch to the system keyboard in secure entry fields.
What to do
- Install Gboard from the App Store.
- Open Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards and add Gboard if needed.
- Open the Gboard app to review its available settings.
- Test the features you care about in messaging and other apps.
