iPhone → Android Move Your Stuff

What should I do with Apple-billed subscriptions and iCloud before moving to Android?

Review each Apple-billed subscription before switching. Some subscriptions may still work on Android with the same service account, while others need a new plan or have no Android app. iCloud data and storage require a separate access, export, and cancellation plan.

What to do

  1. On iPhone, open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions to list Apple-billed plans.
  2. For each subscription, check the provider’s Android app or website and confirm whether your existing account continues to work.
  3. Back up or export any photos, files, contacts, and other iCloud data you need before downgrading storage.
  4. If you decide to cancel an Apple-billed subscription, select it under Subscriptions and tap Cancel Subscription when available.
  5. Confirm the renewal/cancellation status and keep needed Apple Account access for future billing or data recovery.

Limits and compatibility notes

Check this before relying on the answer Canceling a subscription is not the same as transferring it to Google Play. Do not cancel iCloud storage or erase your iPhone before checking that important data is accessible elsewhere.
