Can iPhone back gestures work from either edge of the screen?
A universal Android-style back swipe from both sides is not a built-in iPhone navigation rule. Many apps support a left-edge back gesture, but support from the right edge or within custom screens varies.
What to do
- Test the current app's supported back gesture.
- Use visible Back/Close controls when gestures fail.
- Use Reachability for hard-to-reach buttons.
